No Words, an installation using light and reflection, holds over a hundred dismantled books. Love rips the pages out of these books, leaving textured wordless forms. She transplants the books vertically onto a reflective and illuminated surface, to make a poignant and grave installation that suggests an alternate environment without words. Resonant in this work are the questions of, what happens when we remove the words from books? What happens to cultures when we destroy libraries and other cultural artifacts? Who tells the stories? Her installation, books are stripped bare, is a visual response to that loss.
